You had one job

Every piece of content should have one job.

One metric you're optimizing for. One outcome you care about.

When you try to maximize everything, you optimize nothing.

Here's a simple framework:

→ Reach content = optimizing for impressions, shares, new followers

→ Trust content = optimizing for saves, DMs, replies

→ Conversion content = optimizing for clicks, sign-ups, purchases

Before you hit publish, ask yourself: "Which one is this?"

Then build backward from there.

Reach content needs broad hooks and shareable formats. Trust content needs depth and specificity. Conversion content needs a single focused CTA.

Mixing them dilutes all three.

A post trying to go viral AND build trust AND convert... usually does none of those things well.

Pick one. Win at that. Move on.
