Write it like a DM

Before you post anything, ask yourself one question:

"Would I send this as a DM to one specific person?"

If the answer is no, you're probably writing for an audience. And content written "for an audience" tends to feel hollow.

Generic. Forgettable.

The best public content reads like private advice.

Here's how to use the test:

Picture one real person who has the problem you're solving

Write like you're sending them a voice note or quick message

Use "you" more than "people" or "they"

Cut anything you'd never say out loud to a friend

The shift is subtle but powerful. You stop performing and start helping.

Your feed becomes a collection of useful DMs that happen to be public.
