Solo Diary
When luck falls in your lap
One of those cool days where good conversations just fell into my lap.
→ Productivity: 6/10
→ Creativity: 9/10
→ Mood: 9/10
What did I work on today?
Pagetear:
Delivered work. On time. At a high quality (at least I hope). I’m in such a good flow in this biz right now process-wise, and I only have a few clients — so the workload is ahead of schedule. Great problem to have.
On the docket for tomorrow: map out a basic CRM and create a process for outreach (in a way that isn’t just slimy DMs or cold emails). Gotta start promoting my business more. If I don’t, who will?
Ghostwriting:
Really interesting opportunity came up today out of the blue. Had a conversation with an awesome exec who works with other execs that need help building personal brands. I didn’t seek this out, it came to me. Seemed to be a pattern today.

Met with a fellow creator who is building some different businesses for his portfolio, and we just stumbled upon an interesting idea to work on together. All my work so far has been completely siloed, totally solo. I’d been hoping to find a good opportunity to work with other great creators — and it just sorta happened on its own today.
What did I struggle with today?
Still not promoting Pagetear. That’s the business I’ve planned to focus around, but still not doing my part to grow it. Wait and pray ain’t a strategy I can keep using.
What did Iearn today?
yoU have to be willing to take tons of calls and widen the array of people you connect with beyond just DMing.
If you don’t ask people if they’re interested in things, you’ll never get them interested in things.
What questions am I asking today?
Why am I stopping my promotion momentum? What is it about this task that I’m dreading?
What should a basic CRM for Pagetear look like?
